Carol U. Holmes, 83, formerly of Central Square, passed away on Thursday at St. Lukes Health Services in Oswego.
Carol was born on December 23, 1935 the daughter of the late Albert and Una Evans.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Central Square. She retired from the Postal Service in Brewerton and was a member of the Caughdenoy Methodist Church.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Starlet (Zudijha) Saretovic, sons, Brian (Jennifer) Holmes, Gerald (Jenny) Holmes, brothers, David (Essie) Evans, Paul Evans, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, N. Syracuse, NY. A Spring burial will take place at Roosevelt Cemetery.
