Carol A. Brown, 71, of Cicero, passed away Tuesday after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born on May 4, 1942 in Syracuse.
Carol graduated from Valley High School in 1960.
Her biggest hobby was her family and friends. She also loved flower gardening, crafting, playing bingo and the slot machines at the casino, camping, bowling, going for facials, pedicures, and talking.
Predeceased by her parents, Hedwig and Allen Roberts, Leslie and Gerry Carver. Also her daughter, Janeen (Brown) Wilson.
Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wm. "Jerry" Brown; her children Joy (Mike) Collins, Judie Akey, J.D. Brown, Jill Brown and Jeff (Robin) Brown; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and her brothers, Douglas (Jane) Carver and James (Lisa) Roberts.
Visitation will be 4-7PM on Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral service will follow at 7pm. Burial will be 1pm Monday at N. Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to American Cancer Society.
