Carmen L. Rizzo Sr.
September 15, 1938 — November 22, 2016
Carmen Louis Rizzo, Sr., born September 15, 1938, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and son of the late Louis and Geraldine Rizzo.
A former Marine, he retired from Miller Brewery and devoted his time between New York and North Myrtle Beach. He was a life time member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Ciao, an Italian charity devoted to helping American Veterans and their families and others. His love of God, wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild will endure beyond his demise.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Raye.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Carmen, Jr. (Sara); daughter, Christina; grandchildren, Amber, Anthony, Austin (Jewel) and Ashley Rizzo and Michael and Amy Farrar and great-grandchild, Beau; sisters, Ursula (Bill) Crosby and Vivian (Denny) Devendorf and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at New Comer Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 from 4 to 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
