Carmen J. Ponto, 83, of Cicero, passed away peacefully Wednesday.
Carmen retired from General Motors, known as "Charmin' Carmen."
He was a very kind and giving man. His first and foremost loves in life were his family, grandchildren, and his loving pets, Precious and Princess.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lillian; four children, Sandra (John) Muratore, Cynthia Ostrander, Carmen (Mary) Ponto and John (Judy) Ponto; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Joanna) Ponto; sister Catherine Turo and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 2-6pm Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
Mass will be 10am Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Entombment Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation to a charity of one's choice.
