Carmelo Scollo

Carmelo Scollo, 72, of Syracuse, passed away November 16, 2024. Carmelo was born in Bisacquino, Sicily on March 15, 1952 to Joseph and Anna Maria Scollo. 

Carmelo worked for many years at Learbury's Clothing. He loved soccer, cooking, playing cards (especially Scopa), and had a great sense of humor. Most importantly he loved his family. 

Carmelo was predeceased by his father, Joseph Scollo, and brother, Ernesto. He is survived by Francine Boccardo- Scollo; his son, Carmen Joseph Scollo; daughter, ChrisDina (Mark) Scollo-O'Grady; grandchildren, Adrianna and Isabella Scollo, Mark and Michael O'Grady; siblings, Andy, John, Jack, Angela, Frank, and Anthony. 

Calling hours are Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse with a service to follow.
