Carmella Louise Macro Pendock

May 19, 1936 — February 16, 2025

Syracuse

On February 16, 2025, Carmella Louise Macro Pendock moved from Syracuse, NY to the City called Heaven.

Jesus greeted her with open arms, assuring her she would never know fear, pain, or loneliness again and her memory will never fail.

Carmella sweetly, gently, thanked her savior Jesus Christ with joy that cannot be described, then she began to look around. The first to come into view was her husband Wayne who moved to Heaven in 2006. Carmella and Wayne loved each other and they treasured time with family. Wayne was always happy to be on his boat--Carmella was happy to be with him. Their favorite time together was dancing, so he twirled her around until she landed in the arms of her smiling, loving brother-in-law Richmond who arrived in Heaven in November.

Her thoughts quickly went to the center of her life--her four daughters Joanne, Marylu, Kathy, and Rosemarie, and her sons-in-law Rick, Satch, Brian and Doug, and her grand and great grandchildren.

Her gift to them is beauty, strength, integrity, independence, compassion, creativity and love.Proverbs 31 describes women who fear God: wise, strong, values family, a good example along with many more characteristics that describe Carmella. The one thing I don't think it mentions is that she is a master cook and baker. She learned well from her mother, Rose, and her father Frank. She was always comparing recipes with her sisters Lu Lu, Rosanne and Judith Ann and her brother Joey.

We know she has already taken over one of the kitchens in heaven with her feisty smile adding her secret ingredient to every recipe she made - LOVE. With a song in her heart, and Jesus at the head, she takes her seat with her loved ones.
