Carlos Mirabito, aged 93, of North Syracuse, passed away on March 27, 2025. He was born on February 5, 1932, in Lima, Peru. Carlos led a life characterized by hard work and dedication, retiring from "El Hilado," a textile company, in 1990 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he moved to the United States to spend quality time with his immediate family.
Throughout his life, Carlos was a dedicated family man, well-respected for his strong work ethic and devotion to his loved ones. In his leisure time, he enjoyed a variety of activities that brought him joy, including watching soccer, reading, walking, listening to music, and dancing. His love for spending time with family and friends was evident, and he created countless cherished memories with them.
Carlos was not only a devoted father and loving husband, but he was also a spiritual man who played an active role in church activities during his time in Peru. His kind spirit and warm demeanor touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife, Domitila Mirabito; his daughter, Sonia (Scott) Greenwood; two sons, Carlos (Maritza) Mirabito Jr. and Boris (Margarita) Mirabito; two grandsons, Cristian (Angela) Mirabito and Anttonie (Tatiana Sustache) Pasache; two granddaughters, Karitza Mirabito and Brenda Teixeira; as well as great-grandchildren Cyan, Anttonie, Aryhana, Madison, Soliana, Teagan, Jeremy, Jakira, and Jamil; and a great-great-grandchild, Genesis.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo, and his mother, Rosenda.
Visitation services will be held on April 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY, 13212.
His legacy of love and devotion will continue to resonate through the lives he has touched.
