Carl Stillwell

Carl R. Stillwell, 86, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully on Monday.
He was born in East Syracuse; he resided in Syracuse for most of his life. Carl served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a life-time member of the Mattydale VFW Post 3146. Carl retired from Jaquith Industries after 35 years and later worked for the Syracuse Herald Journal.
Carl was predeceased by his wife, Margaret G. Stillwell.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen (Tyrone) Nixon, Nancy (Chuck) McDevitt and Char (Gary) McRee; step-son, Mike Griffith; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Friday, July 1 at 12PM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville.
