Carl G. Revette, 94, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2020 in Syracuse, NY.
Carl was born in Fulton, NY on March 28,1926.
He proudly served in the US Army during World War II in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper.
Carl was a proud and avid deer hunter and fisherman. He could often be found in his garage figuring out, and fixing, every small engine that came his way, and many did.
Most of all, he was a kind, generous man who radiated joy and love. He adored his wife, Esther, and was always happy when surrounded by his family and friends.
He is survived by his lovely wife, Esther T. Revette of 76 years; his sons, Carl (Heidi) and Ronnie (Jackie); and his brother, Richard (Joanne Welich); grandchildren, Jeff Revette, Dawn Revette, Dania Saarony, Brandi Sollars, and Peter Schneider; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Carl was predeceased by his daughter, Denise Lefler; sister, Marie Chappell; and brothers, Floyd, Bernard and Francis and grandson, Brett Revette.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11th from 10-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A service will follow at 12pm. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA.
Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
