Carl D. Osborne

Carl D. Osborne, 66, of Eastwood, passed away December 3, 2022. He was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and graduated from Henninger High School in 1974. Carl was born in Syracuse, New York on April 10, 1956 to Robert and Beatrice Osborne. He worked at the New Process Gear Plant in Dewitt and was a retiree of U.A.W Local 624. Carl treasured his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, hunting and vacationed frequently, cruising to the Islands. Carl also had a love for NASCAR, he attended many races and collected memorabilia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Osborne; mother, Beatrice E. Osborne; brothers, Daniel R. Osborne and Michael T. Osborne; and his best friend, Diane M. Osborne.

Carl is survived by his children, Alicia (John) Finerson, Tiffany (Aaron) LaRock, Jessica Osborne; grandchildren, Briona (Jake); Austen (Cindy), Justen (Erin), Christian, Caitlynn, Maya, Ethan, Haley, Gabriel, Jaxon; great-grandson, Liam; Fiance, Georgina; brothers and sisters, Lana, Garry, Kathi, Brenda, Brian, Lori, Jay, Scott, and TJ; and several, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5-7PM with a funeral service to follow. Memorial contributions may be made in Carl's Memory to The ALS Association.
