Carl I. Mills, 82, of Brewerton, passed away on Sunday at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on September 18, 1931 son of the late John and Myrtle Mills. Carl was retired Air Force and also retired from the North Syracuse Post Office after 25 years. Carl was a member of the VFW, he was a member of the Gray Wolves Hockey Team, he enjoyed golfing, tennis and skiing. He was predeceased by his son, Patrick and a grandson. He was also predeceased by his brothers: John, Frank, Cliff, Freddie, 2 sisters: Thelma and Helen.
Surviving are his beloved wife Billie, of 49 years, his children: Kathy McKinney, Debbie Katie, John, Bobby, Rebecca, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a sister Meta Blaisdell.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
