Carl L. Hopkins

Carl L. Hopkins, 82 of North Syracuse, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born in E. Syracuse, NY on January 4, 1942 to the late Howard R. Hopkins Sr. and Marjorie (Townsend) Hopkins.

 He graduated from E. Syracuse High School in 1959. He served in the NY Army National Guard for eight years.

 Carl was a meat cutter for several years starting at A&P and retired from Price Chopper Groceries in 2017. He loved decorating for Christmas especially his village display.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sharon (Hall) Hopkins; siblings, Dorothy Mulcahey, Donna Schaffner and Eleanor Caza; brother-in-law, David (Mary Anne) Hall and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Predeceased by his brothers, Howard Jr., Ronald and Gary Hopkins.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212 on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm.

 Interment will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, 11am at N. Syracuse Cemetery.
