Carl Neal Fougnier

Carl Neil Fougnier, 60, of Bridgeport passed away on March 2, 2023. Carl was born on March 6, 1962, he was the son of Charles Fougnier Sr. and the late Marybeth "Bishop" Fougnier.
He was a graduate of Westhill High School and BOCES Welding Program. Carl was a proud retiree of UA Local 267 (formally Local 818) Straight Line Steamfitters where he was a 41 year member. Carl was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his life on Oneida lake. His favorite activities included boating, fishing, jet skiing, hunting and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed traveling to Florida with his family.
Carl is survived by his Father, Charles (Joanne) Fougnier, Sr.; Brother, Charles (Charlene) Fougnier Jr.; Sister, Colleen Fougnier; Niece, Mary (Adam) Losee.
He was predeceased by his Mother, Marybeth Fougnier; and Sister, Christine Fougnier.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 17 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery.
