Candace Burdick

After a valiant and courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Candice "Candi" Burdick, 75, peacefully transitioned to the other side on April 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Candace retired from Onondaga County after many years as a social worker. She enjoyed an active life of running, kayaking, swimming, traveling, gardening, SU Basketball, volunteering at the local school district, and her beloved dog, "Bri".

Candace leaves behind her three children, Stacie (David) Savarese, Sean (Thuy) Atkinson, and Darbie Giacona; five grandchildren; her mother, Polly Gardner; sister, Georgia (Paul) Migliorsi; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, William Cummins.

A private service will take place at the convenience of the family.
