Calvin L. Lagstrom

February 9, 1954 — May 20, 2017

Calvin "Cal" Lagstrom, 63, of Central Square, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born and raised in Otisco, NY the son of the late Lars Peter and Florence Lagstrom.

Cal enjoyed playing guitar and singing country and gospel music. For many years he sold life insurance for Mutual of Omaha. Most of all Cal loved his many camping trips at Brennan Beach with his family.

He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Lagstrom.

Surviving are his longtime companion Donna Retzbach, his daughter Brittany Lagstrom, son Dale Lagstrom, daughters Amanda Harvey & Melissa Hanlon, siblings; Janice Evans, Sandra Cunningham, Cecilia Cascella, his twin brother, Alvin Lagstrom, brothers; Eric Lagstrom, Robert Lagstrom, 9 grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a service to follow.
