Byron Cromp

Byron Cromp, 79, of North Syracuse passed after a brave battle with lung cancer. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Teamsters #317 as a truck driver. Following honorable discharge from the Army, he worked at Carrier Corp. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, harness racing and playing the Lottery.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth. He was a loving devoted husband and father.
Surviving are his son David (Danielle), 4 daughters; Cindy Cyr, Vicki (Kathy) Sullivan, Lori (Kevin) Williamson, Melissa Showens, his beloved bird Quackers, 8 grandchildren; Nicole, Kristopher, Paul, Nicholas, Alyssa, Zachary, Ryan, & Matthew, 2 great grandchildren; Leighton & Mason, brother, Richard Cromp, 2 sisters, Frances & Norma.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
