Bruce Joseph Williams, 67, of Bridgeport, passed away May 16, 2023.
Bruce was born in Syracuse, New York on March 11,1956 to the late Lloyd and Rita Williams.
Bruce worked for the past 8 years at Point Place Casino as the Environmental Service Supervisor. In his free time, he was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching events on TV and in person. Although reserved, Bruce was one of the most caring and kind people you could know. He was quick to offer help to anyone who needed it. Affectionately known as a "Gentle Giant", Bruce also had a great sense of humor and quick wit.
He was preceded in death by his Brother, Robert J. Williams.
He is survived by his Sisters, Connie F. Williams, Joyce R. (Donald) Brutcher, Theresa A. (Peter) Tarnawsky and Kathleen M. (Jerome) Yocius; Sister-In-Law, Joanne Williams; Two Nieces, Penny S. (Michael) Stimson and Kari Ann (Jimmy) Johnson; Two Nephews, James Williams and David Monroe; Great Niece, Stella Stimson and Great Nephew, Cooper Stimson.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 1st from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
Burial will be held at a later date.
