Bruce Hunter, 73, of Clay, passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, March 1.
Born Sept. 19, 1942 to the late Hugh Hunter and Janet (Luther) Hunter, Bruce served in the Navy and attended OCC, majoring in Sales. In 1985 he established his own business, Bruce Hunter Associates (BHA). Bruce loved nature and was the ultimate sportsman. He was a member of the Grasse River Club and Clay Sportsman Club. In 2005 he purchased property, joined QDMA and created a perfect haven for his family and friends, naming it "Ponderwood".
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dianne (Swanson) Hunter; son, Mark (Serena) Hunter; grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary Hunter and great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Alexander.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 8th from 4 to 6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NRA.
