Bruce C. Harris "Bushwhacker"

Bruce C. Harris, 73, of Constantia, passed away on November 18, 2024. 

Bruce was born to Carl and Abie Jane Harris on September 30, 1951, in Syracuse, New York. 

Bruce, aka Bushwhacker, retired from Clinton's Ditch as a truck driver. Bruce also served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. 

In his free time, Bruce enjoyed his '72 Nova, car shows, fishing, and telling dirty jokes. He loved his family, close friends, and his Facebook good morning gang. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole L. Harris; father, Carl Harris; mother, Abie Jane Harris; and brother, Rick Harris. 

He is survived by his two sons, James Harris and Timothy (Tonya) Harris; his grandsons, Michael and Clay; and his granddaughter, Maddie. He is also survived by his brother Scott (Donna) Harris and sisters Bonnie (Jim) Townsend, Nancy (George) Miniaci, and Janet (Rick) Dumigan, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and many others he loved, like family. 

Bruce's family would like to extend a special thank you to Sherry Congden for her unwavering friendship and the selfless care she provided in his time of need. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
