Bruce Guest, 63, of Baldwinsville, New York, passed away on June 7, 2024.
Bruce was born in Cuba, New York, on February 5, 1961, to Robert R. and Jane Guest.
Bruce retired from USDA in 2017 after 33 years, where he was a loan specialist.
Bruce's devotion to his family was unwavering. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was camping trips or simple family gatherings. His dog, Kristy, was also a beloved member of their family.
Bruce was a wonderful, kind man who was willing to help anyone in need. He could fix almost anything and was frequently asked for advice.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert R. Guest, mother Jane Guest; daughter Sarah Wheeler and grand-daughter Grace Yousey.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Debra Guest; children Daniel (Heather) Yousey, Jill Fleming, Heather (Robert) Tonkery, and Ben (Marlies) Guest; son-in-law Jeffrey Wheeler; many Grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is survived by his siblings Robert A. (Trina) Guest, Jennifer Swartz, Todd Guest, and Aimee (Brian) Agett.
Bruce served four years in the Navy on the USS John F. Kennedy. He received the Navy Battle “E” Ribbon, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and a Good Conduct award.
He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
