Bruce E. Greene

Bruce E. Greene, 74, of Pulaski, passed away with friends who cared for him by his side on September 1, 2023 after a long illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Joyce and Rex Greene. He graduated from Pulaski High School. Bruce served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, during that time he served in Vietnam. He went onto work and live in various places. He especially enjoyed his time in New York City where he was able to indulge in the artistic world of museums, theatre and the culture of the city. Upon returning home to Pulaski, he worked at Walmart until his retirement. Bruce was an avid collector of art and enjoyed displaying his various pieces in his home. He was also an avid reader of history.

Bruce was predeceased by his father, Rex Greene, at a young age. Having been close to his mother his whole life, he returned to Pulaski to spend more time with her until her passing. Bruce was also predeceased by many other close friends.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon L. (Keith) Scott; two twin nephews and close friend, Margo Orton.

In keeping with Bruce's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, Bruce would have wanted any contributions to go towards a cause that helps children or cancer research.
