Bruce H. Clark, 80, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday. He was born in Syracuse to the late Kenneth and Lillian Clark. Bruce served in the 101st Airborn Division of Army. He then served on the Syracuse Police Force for 6 years and later went into shoe sales for most of the rest of his career. For the last 10 years, he worked at Lowe's in Camillus. Bruce loved woodworking, fishing and hunting.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald and an infant son, Paul Wayne.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carolyn; children, Kris (Derrick Maimone) Volz, Eric Clark and Paul (Lisa) Clark; 2 granddaughters, Lillian and Megan; siblings, Dean (Cathy) Clark and Nancy (Robert) McAllaster; sisters-in-law, Joyce Clark, Debra (Eric) Emmert and Linda (John) Brier; brother-in-law, Michael Lyons; cousin, Paul (Irene) Meyer and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 11am at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
