Brian A. Mitchell

Brian A. Mitchell, 43, of Syracuse, passed away December 13, 2023. Brian was born in Syracuse, New York on August 12, 1980 to Myron and Bonnie Coolbaugh. Brian retired from Cortland Sliver Star Taxi, where he was employed as a taxi driver. He was an avid horse lover. As a child he found great solace in spending time in the barn grooming and feeding "his" two horses, Lady and Mariah. Brian was quite the jokester and always made people laugh. He loved spending time with his children, they were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by father, Myron Coolbaugh and brother, Jeramy Sharmach.

Brian is survived by his two daughters, Kristy Mitchell, Grace Mitchell; mother Bonnie Peck; three sisters, Elizabeth Birchmeyer, Janelle Coolbaugh, and Michelle Cuddeback; and three brothers, Raymond Lewis, Mike Coolbaugh, and James Sharmach.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian's name to help the family during this difficult time.
