Brian Richard Hynes

Brian Richard Hynes, 61, of Mattydale, passed away February 6, 2025 after a brief illness. Brian was born in Syracuse, New York on December 10, 1963 to William and Mary Hynes. Throughout his employment, he worked in both New York and Florida consecutively. Brian was a huge sports fan including the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Red Sox . 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Hynes and nephew, Matthew Hynes. 

Brian is survived by his four brothers, William (Suzanne) Hynes, Walter (Anne) Hynes, Robert (Ellen) Hynes and Kevin (Karen) Hynes; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday February 13, 2025 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, where a service will follow at 7PM. A burial will be held in North Syracuse Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian's memory to The American Lung Association.
