Brenda D. Burnham, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday. Brenda loved to partake in activities such as ceramics, crochet, knitting and quilting. She was a former member of the Eastwood American Legion Post 1276, ladies auxillary. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brenda also loved spending time with her friends at Malta Manor where she would make baked goods for their gatherings. One of Brenda's proudest moments was becoming an American Citizen in 1998.

She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley, a son, Joseph Liberatore.

She is survived by six children, Edward Flynn, Tina Helstein, James (Robin) Liberatore, Anthony (Diana) Liberatore, Yolanda (Robert) Downs and Robert (Teri) Liberatore; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Clarke; a brother, Neville Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
