Bonnie Lee Gray, née Davis, died peacefully on December 31, 2015 in Syracuse, NY at the age of 72.
Bonnie was born on August 20, 1943 to father Jay Davis and mother Katherine Davis, and resided in Brewerton, NY at the time of her passing. She graduated as valedictorian of her Nursing Class in Syracuse, NY and served as a compassionate and tireless caregiver up until she was no longer able to work due to her illness. She was an active and dedicated member of the United Methodist Women (UMW) as well as the Brewerton United Methodist Church, where she served as the Usher Coordinator and generously volunteered as the co-chair for the Senior Citizen Ministries monthly dinner as well as working in the Food Pantry.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Robin Lynn Winkelmann, sons Paul Winkelmann and Kevin Winkelmann and her partner Jeffrey Weeks, in addition to her grandchildren, Brandon, Dianna, Thomas, Dakota, Corey, Kevin and Brittany and many extended family members, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert Davis, who died as a toddler, and her grandparents Laura & John Kelly and Leonard & Mabel Davis.
A celebration of Bonnie's life is scheduled for January 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at The Brewerton United Methodist Church with a reception to follow in the Church Fellowship Hall. Reverend Jack Keating will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bonnie's life.
