Bonita Phoenix

Bonita Phoenix, 76, of Syracuse, passed away August 12, 2023. Bonita was born in North Adams, Massachusetts on May 17, 1947 to Alfred and Barbara Palmer. She attended the old Drury High School. Bonita knew how to have a good time. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Phoenix; parents, Alfred Palmer and Barbara M. Kingsley; sister, Linda Palmer; and son in law, Mike Hemingway.

Bonita is survived by her children, Clearance Kenny, Linda (Chuck Bell) Barry, Lisa Hemingway, Cindy (Mike) Vastag, Belinda Bidwell, and Tammy (John Paul) Lafleur; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; sister, Polly Compo; brother, Robert Palmer; and 4 nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held, Monday, August 21, 2023 from 3-5pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. Memories of Bonita will be shared following the visitation.
