Beverly M. Domres

Beverly M. Domres passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in 1930 to Frank and Henrietta Strahl. Beverly married John "Jack" Domres in 1949 and lived her entire life in the Syracuse area, where she raised her five children.

She retired from New Process Gear in 1990, but continued working the catering circuit with Koons catering. Beverly was an active member of UAW Local 624 and enjoyed bingo, bunko and dancing at the Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her husband John in 1982, daughter, Denise Vinciguerra in 2007 and her brother, Harold Strahl in 2006.

She is survived by her four children, Richard (Judy) of Missouri, Ronald (Liz), Ralph (Cheryl) and Diane (Ricky) Fitzgibbon; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 11 am. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
