Betty J. Stine, 71, of Liverpool passed away Saturday. Born in Syracuse, Betty worked for Liverpool Schools for many years. She was loved and adored by her husband and sons and had many friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Henry Burton.
Surviving are her husband James, sons James (Kim) and Michael (Michelle), a brother Jack Burton, a sister Jennie (Vernon) Slater, 8 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
Contributions in Betty's name may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 401 N. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13203.
