Betty L. Sharpe, 99, of Liverpool, passed away June 26, 2024.
Betty was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania on November 5, 1924 to the late James and Elizabeth Mapstone.
Betty was loving, caring and compassionate person but she also was feisty and stubborn in the best way possible. She will be greatly missed by her entire family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sharpe, Sr.; her son, William Sharpe and son-in-law, Neal Needham.
She is survived by her Daughter, Judith Needham; Son, James (Sharon) Sharpe; grandchildren, Carol (Michael) Skanes, Michael (Kelly) Needham, Robert (Laurie) Needham, Thomas (Amy) Needham, Billy Sharpe, Jr., Adam (Jamie) Sharpe and Charles (Tracy) Sharpe; daughter in law, Mimi Sharpe; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Thursday July 11th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at the funeral home at 12 PM. Burial will take place in Pine Plains Cemetery immediately following services.
