Betty J. Rowe, 82, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Sunday after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. A life resident of Syracuse, she loved her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her husband; John D. Rowe, five sons; Robert R. (Paula) Walrath of East Syracuse, John A. (Mary Alice) Walrath of Camillus, Peter M. (Colleen) Rowe of North Syracuse, David J. (Cathy) Rowe of Phoenix, NY, Anthony J. Rowe of Syracuse, two daughters; Terry L. (Arthur) Ferrara of Mattydale, Kimberly K. (William) Holmes of Denver, CO., a brother; Howard MacAvoy, a niece Denise Midgley, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, N.Y. 13088.
