Betty W. Richardson

October 20, 1926 — June 30, 2021

Betty Richardson, 94, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, June 30th.

She was born in Syracuse to the late Leona and Arthur Williams.

After graduating high school, she married Arthur W. Richardson in Jacksonville Naval Station. After returning to Syracuse she went on to become a Registered Nurse. Betty served as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital and private duty.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; and sisters, Helen and Patricia.

She is survived by her children, Warren and David (Cindy); four grandchildren, Amy (Edward), Jeffrey (Kimberly), Timothy and Zachary (Cynthia); great-grandchildren; brother, William F. Williams (Diane) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7th from 10am-noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, with a service to follow at noon. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
