Betty Jane Pringle

Betty Jane Pringle, 90, of Manlius, previously of North Syracuse, passed away June 7, 2023.
Betty was born in Syracuse, New York on May 17, 1933 to the late Dominick Filippi and Hazel Rogers.
Betty retired from Inficon after 17 years working as a receptionist. In May of 1981, 12 people met to form PROMISE, an acronym for Parents and Relatives of the Mentally Ill Supporting Each other. By 1984, PROMISE had grown to include a Board of Directors with by-laws, incorporation as a non-profit, and had become a member of the NAMI-PROMISE and most recently, NAMI SYRACUSE.
She is survived by her Children, Terry Pringle, Debra Hilgenberg, Jean (Thomas) Feher, Steven Pringle, Janet Pringle, Kim (Majdi) Al-Sahhaf; Step-Brother, Randy Worden; Step-Sister, Cindy Standen; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; As well as several Nieces and Nephews.
Entombment will take place on Wednesday at 1 PM in Woodlawn Cemetery.
