Betty Jean Haskins Miller, 79, of North Syracuse, died on July 1, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Watertown, NY. She graduated from Watertown High School and attended Central City Business Institute. She retired in 1996 after 32 years as an engineering technician with General Electric Company and Lockheed Martin. Following retirement she worked part time for Wegman's Food Stores and J.C. Penney's.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles R. Miller; a daughter, Rhonda Ruterbusch of Flushing, Michigan; a son, David Searle of Clay, NY; 1 brother; 2 sisters; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was a communicant of North Syracuse Baptist Church.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 8th from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 10am in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
