Betty M. Snyder, 79 of Syracuse went quietly to sleep, passing away peacefully with her loving family by her side just as she wished.

Born in Syracuse, she was a 1955 graduate of Central High School. Betty was a mom to seven children and with so many family and friends around, she became like a "mom" to many. Betty was proud of her years of employment at Crouse Hinds and Bristol Laboratories and later became a paralegal, serving the Goldberg Law Firm for over 25 years. Betty enjoyed day trips to the beach with her children, collecting antiques, hosting holiday parties, game days and trips with her girls, and attending the scholastic and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Spending time with family was her most cherished pastime.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Raymond Brubaker and daughter Nanette Snyder, along with her parents and siblings.

Betty is survived by her loving children, sons David (Christine) Brubaker, Gavin (Jessica) Snyder and daughters Denise (Renee) Brubaker, Deborah Brubaker Morey, Doreen (Angelo) Williams, Diana (Larry) Clemens, Donna (Tina) Brubaker along with 14 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in North Syracuse, New York, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24 with a remembrance service immediately following.

A private family burial will be held at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse.
