Betty Jean Dean
Betty Jean Dean, of Eagle Bay and North Syracuse, passed away February 24, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger, and daughter, Deborah.
Betty was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 3, 1920. She and her husband, Roger, resided in Eagle Bay and owned and operated Eagle Bay Foodtown for many years.
Survivors include her son, William Thomas Briggs of Florida, grandson Roger of Florida, granddaughters Trisha Carrasquillo of California and Kate Diedrickson of Arizona and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for friends and family will be held at White Chapel Memory Garden in the Masonic Gardens section on May 31 at 10 a.m.
