Betty J. Devereaux, 86, of N. Syracuse passed away on Sat. at her home. She was born on August 7, 1925 in Syracuse, daughter of Clarence and Alvina Chipperfield. She was a member of St. Margaret's Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Devereaux, 2 brothers; Clarence, Roy Chipperfield, sister, Marie Ruston and son-in-law, Frank Bell. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bell, son Robert (Beatriz) Devereaux, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Ethel Chipperfield.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm from New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Wed. 10 am at St. Margarets Church, Mattydale. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
Contributions may be made to St. Margarets Church.
