Betty F. DePuy, 98, of Cicero, passed away in her sleep January 31, 2024. Betty was born on July 22, 1925 to George and Lottie Flemming.
Born in Nunda, New York. She graduated as an elementary teacher which enabled her to teach and tutor for many years. Betty loved to knit and sew. She created many sweaters, flannel shirts, dresses, hats and gloves for her family. She loved cross-word puzzles. One would always find a crossword puzzle in process with a pen next to her seat.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 63 years, Ivan DePuy; Father, George Flemming; Mother, Lottie Henry; Daughter, Sharon (Ned) Emrick; and Clyde (Evelynn) Fleming.
She is survived by her Two Sons, Phillip (Dorie) DePuy, Glenn (Barbara) DePuy; 10 Grandchildren; and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00am at Beacon Baptist Church, 4800 Route 31, Clay, NY. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Nunda, NY.
