Bettie M. Magnusen (Moore), 87, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2023 knowing she was going to her heavenly home.
Bettie was always very proud of being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to so many. She has been a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Clay for well over 30 years, serving by hosting missionaries and other guests, and working tirelessly for the Seniors she loved.
Bettie was born in Andalusia, Alabama on October 13, 1935 to the late Andrew and Fannie Mae Williford Moore. Her family moved to Gulfport, Mississippi where she met and married Robert D. Magnusen. Bob and Bettie traveled the United States extensively throughout their marriage and lived in Mississippi, New York three different times, Nebraska, California, and Alabama.
She is survived by two children, daughter, Terri (Arthur) Petrozzi; son, Robert D. Magnusen Jr.; grandchild, Andrew R. Foster and daughter-in-law, Jennifer M. Lamie; great-grandchild, Drew J. Foster; nieces, Tammy Moore and Jill Melder; and nephew, Michael Hulsey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Magnusen; brothers, Argyle Moore, Edward Moore, and Paul Johnson Moore; and sisters, Patricia Mae Hulsey and Annie Charles Champa.
Funeral services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse on Monday, June 26, 2023 at noon. Burial will be private.
