Bette Kay Molina, 78, of West Monroe, NY, passed away on Monday November 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Bette was born in Syracuse, NY on June 23, 1945 daughter of the late Catherine (Bistrovich) and Walter Hass. Bette was predeceased by her son, Charles Shipley.
Bette worked as a medical secretary for Dr Marlowe's office and many other providers' offices spanning nearly 50 years, where her laughter was often heard by patients and co-workers whom she cared deeply for.

Bette spent her life enjoying time with her family, vacationing at the Jersey Shore, and camping in the Adirondacks. Bette created a home that was enjoyed by family and friends. Bette's loving and kind nature was felt by all of those that met her. Bette's laughter and smile lit up the lives of those around her. Bette loved all animals. Her home always was filled with multiple dogs and cats. All her pets throughout the years were spoiled with her love and kindness.

Bette is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Kenneth N. Molina, whom she was married to for 48 years, her granddaughter, Misty Kay (Keith) Miles, whom she raised and was the light of her life, her sister and best friend, Joyce Brosnan, her niece, Michelle (Matthew) Burrough, whom she shared a special relationship with, her brothers, Leonard Hass, Richard (Doris) Hass, her step daughter, Teresa Elliott, along with many grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of CNY, or a charity of one's choice, or to your local food bank.
