Betsy Fuller, born Elizabeth Jean Ross, raised in Norwell, MA, died peacefully on January 25, at age 87 in Syracuse, NY.
Beloved wife of late Unitarian Universalist Minister, John C. Fuller, she is survived by her sister Marion O'Donnell; her son Peter, and his wife Marsha; her daughter, Ellen R Fuller, and her son Christopher, and his wife Jorie; and by her grandchildren: Alicia, Emily, David, Will and Thomas Fuller.
Betsy was an active member of her church and neighborhood, and lived as a talented poet and storyteller. Betsy's career spanned 50 years as an early childhood teacher. An ardent supporter of the arts, classical music, opera and theater, Betsy served on the Board of the Society for New Music. Betsy's dedication, spirit and generosity live on through the many children's lives she touched and in the hearts of the many relatives and friends she loved.
A memorial service celebrating Betsy's life will be held on March 26, 2016 at 11:00AM at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, 3800 East Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13214.
