Bert W. Dolphin Jr., 79, of Kirkville, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse he worked as a draftsman designer. Bert was a veteran of the Marine Corps., member of the American Legion in Bridgeport, a member and past commander of the VFW and was a past president of the North Chittenango Vol. Fire Dept. Bert is predeceased by his first wife, Mary.
Bert is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Courtwright) Dolphin; two sons, Michael (Verna) of Idaho, Martin (Linda) of Kentucky; two step-daughters, Sharon (Dennis) Cota of W. Monroe, Diane (Larry) Zacharek of Bridgeport; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Minoa. Calling Hours, Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
