Bernard N. Revette

Bernard "Bernie" Revette, 93, died in his sleep at Rosewood Heights on Thursday. Born in Malone, NY to John and Florence Revette, he met Lillian in 1936 and married on Oct 6 1939 in Malone. He served in WWII as a Navy Seabee. He was employed as an Electrician; he worked for General Motors UAW at the DeWitt plant for more than 25 years. Bernie was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, hunt and snowmobile. He was a Gold Card Member of the Mad River Club in Pulaski, a member of the North Syracuse Rod and Gun Club, B'Ville Moose Club and the American Legion Post 915. He was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Brewerton, NY.
He leaves his wife of 71 years, Gladys Lillian (Soucia); his daughter, Sheila Haig of Cocoa, FL; his son, James (Vicki) of Central Square; his brothers, Carl (Esther) of Mattydale and Richard of Arvada, CO; a sister-in-law, Gerry Revette; several cousins, nieces and nephews; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be Monday 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, Brewerton. Burial will be Tuesday 12 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery, Malone, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
