Bernard A. Clark

February 3, 1939 — December 11, 2020

Bernard "Joe" Clark, died on Friday at Crouse Hospital. He was born on February 3, 1939. Joe lived in Cato for over 50 years until moving to Cicero, four years ago. He worked for American Vending Company from 1962-71. From that point on, he always considered himself as being self employed. Joe was a giving and sharing person doing for others and never expecting anything in return. It didn't matter if it was bank employees, construction workers or the people that always gave him wonderful care when he would be in the hospital. If he knew somebody that needed something or looking for something, he would go to Garage Sales and find what that person was needing and often times, just gave it to them, never wanting or expecting to be paid for it.
Marian & Joe had a very special love for each other and every moment together was very precious to them. They knew how lucky they were to have each other.

Surviving is his wife of four years, Marian (Eaton) Clark, his daughter Cathy Connolly, Red Creek, NY, Connie (Steve) Shugart, TX, son Gary (Iris) Clark, TX, his grandchildren; January, Luke, Joey, Jordan & Corey, great grandchildren, step daughter, Cindy, step grandsons; Preston & Matthew and his very special companion friend, Lady.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Bay Fire Dept,, PO Box 1765, Cicero, NY 13039.
As they have been called many times, all hours of the day, and night, all kinds of weather, to help pick him up when he had fallen and Joe and I were unable to do it ourselves. They have gone over and above in helping, one time they shoveled a path to the garage as Joe was trying to get there through at lot of snow. They know him as "Joe". Thank you so much.

Due to COVID Restrictions, there will be no services.
