Benjamin J. Weill

Benjamin "Benny" to friends and "Bucky" to family, Weill, 57, of Syracuse, was brought home to be with his long time significant loved one Francis Hamilton on Thursday 8/05. Benjamin was born August 24, 1963, son of the late Michael and Sharon Weill. He was one of the funniest; most humblest, caring, giving, hardest working men you have could ever met. A man who knew he wasn't perfect, but wasn't afraid to show his flaws. Many words we could use to describe Benny; but few could truly fit the bill: genuine, resourceful, special, handy, loving White boy with Dreads, creative, jack of all traits are a few to replay when you think of him. Most of all a true soldier. Even though he battled his own demons daily, he never allowed it show or stop him from helping others.

He is survived by his children; Savannah Soliday, Jeremiah Weill, Alyssa Brill, grandchildren, Davontay, Maliek, Marcellus, Travarous, his sister, Georgia Weill, brother, George Weill, along with an Aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705
N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
