Benjamin J.Harkola, 93, of Camillus died Monday October 3, 2011 at Loretto. He retired from New Process Gear. He was a US Army veteran serving in WWII. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, daughters, Margaret Menkins and Susan Golembieski; son, Thomas Harkola.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Pat Gnatowsky; a brother, Chester Harkola; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
