Benedict Guth, 90, of Liverpool passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born on July 29, 1922. Son of Benedict and Katherine Frank Guth. He served in the US Army from 1942-47 and last worked for Local 333 in Syracuse.
He is survived by his loving wife, Concetta,
his brother John (Joanne) Guth, stepchildren: Patricia (David) Newell, John Alfone, and Joseph (Sharon) Alfone, and stepgrandchildren: John Coryea, Steven Coryea, and Sean Newell, and great-stepgrandchidren: Gianna and Ben Coryea.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday 10am at St. Joseph's the Worker Church, Liverpool. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VA Hospital or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
