Belva M. Major, 70, of Cicero, left this world on Saturday after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in West Leyden, NY, daughter of the late, Victor and Grace Fey. Belva was a member of the Cicero Fire Dept. Auxiliary for 20 years, she was an avid Yankees Fan and enjoyed playing cards. She was predeceased by her son, Ricky White and her brothers Floyd, Lester & Walter Fey.
Surviving are her husband, Albert, of 27 years, 2 sons: Dale & Dan White, daughter, Theresa Redding, step-children: Robert White, Edward White, Ken Major & Heather Poli, her dog, Roxy, several grandchildren, 4 brothers: Donald, Clarence, Cletus & Howard Fey, and her sister, Phyllis Powell.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
