Beatrice Heafield

Beatrice F. Heafield, 92, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday April 19, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born in Frankfort, NY on March 20, 1932 daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Lomazzo.

Bea was the eldest of two children and grew up with her family in Frankfort, NY where she enjoyed playing with her younger brother, Dominick & she attended Herkimer High School. She married Donald R. George in 1951 in New York and had seven children. She later married Clyde Heafield.

Beatrice worked at a variety of jobs over her work life. She worked as a bank teller, an auto worker, a furnace operator and electronics assembler. She was an extremely hard worker. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Beatrice was predeceased by her son, Dennis George and daughter, Denise George.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Sharon) George, Detroit, MI, Bernice Bourn, Detroit, MI, Bernadette (Ken) Maki, NH, Dominick George, Liverpool, NY, Barbara (Richard) Wright, NH, several grandchildren, along with countless relatives.

Our mother was always there when we needed her. We knew we could always come home. BEATRICE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED BY ALL WHO LOVE HER.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
