Bart Schibeci, 86, of Mattydale died Monday at home after a long illness. Born in Fulton, NY on September 10, 1919 he served with the Army's 9th Infantry Division in WWII. He worked at L.B. Smith Inc. for many years before his retirement in 1981. He is predeceased by his wife Clara (Castelveechi) Schibeci.
Mr. Schibeci is survived by his children, John Schibeci of Mattydale, Cheryl (Nicholas) Garofalo of Cicero, Anne (Richard) Furgal of North Syracuse, Janine (James) Lovell of Clay and Bart (Jeanine) Schibeci Jr. of Fairmount, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088-6148.
